Eleven year-old Devon Rivers, who went into a coma after he was diagnosed with a mysterious illness has awoken after two years. Doctors kept telling his family that he was in a persistent vegetative state and there was little or no hope of recovery. Unlike Terri Schiavo, the boy continued to receive daily physical therapy and wasn’t starved to death.
