Colin Powell and Oprah Winfrey Political Hypocrisy Stoke the Flames of Racism

Sunday, October 19th, 2008

It’s funny how people like Colin Powell and Oprah will shun their own gender or their own party and vote for someone on the basis of race. In Powell’s case he not only shuns his own party, but endorses the most liberal senator we have. In Oprah’s case she shuns her own gender and instead votes race.

If a white person voted for someone because they thought a white person would be better they would most likely be considered a racist. You aren’t going to tell me that it’s not the same when Oprah and Colin Powell do the same thing. I always knew that Oprah and Powell were liberals, that is no great surprise to me. I was a little surprised that they would vote based on race, especially when it is a big break from either their supposed views or in Oprah’s case, the women who made her what she is today.

Oprah liked Hillary Clinton and obviously there isn’t very much difference in Hillary Clinton’s policies and Barack obama’s. There has never been a woman president – there have been plenty of men. Yet Oprah stepped onto the political stage because she felt that it was critical we have Obama over Hillary. Strange indeed. Also strange that Hillary said she would not invite Sarah Palin on her show before the election. Between those things and the sexist comments and hatred that have been directed towards Sarah Palin in general in this election, it is obvious we have a long way to go when it comes to women being given equal footing to men.

Colin Powell was always someone who tried to hide his political positions while riding the coattails of the republican party. So here he decides to choose a liberal who has already been involved in more scandals than any President in history, and he’s not even been elected yet. Obama’s shady Ayers, ACORN, Jeremiah Wright, and Antoin Tony Rezko associations do not trouble him and he feels that McCain shouldn’t make it an issue.

The former Secretary of State said it is ok, even if Obama is a Muslim and cites the contributions of millions of Muslim citizens to American society. Obviously, the fact that Obama would lie about it should be an issue for any American. The fact that he attended a so called Christian church that was filled with racist anti-American hate should be just as big a concern.

Powell’s comments are full of hypocrisy. He says he doesn’t want the same old things, like conservative Supreme Court Picks, yet says McCain is bringing the party in the wrong direction. He is saying it is the same direction and then says it is bringing the party into a different direction. He apparently is not looking out for the little guy considering some of the awful decisions handed down by the liberals on the Supreme Court.

Powell says Sarah Palin doesn’t have enough experience to be Vice President, but Obama, with less experience, somehow has enough to be President. He praises Obama as a new generation, but doesn’t give the same praise to Sarah Palin, who supposedly more represents his own views. Last year he gave the maximum $2,300 campaign contribution to John McCain. This is scary stuff that people can be so deceptive for so long about their views. Oprah and Powell have fooled a lot of people through the years.

And so it goes – Oprah Winfrey and Colin Powell show their true colors. It’s as simple as black and white to me. In a fair country people of all races are treated equally. Since a white person wouldn’t get a pass for voting solely on the basis of their own race, I’m not giving a pass to Oprah Winfrey or Colin Powell, especially in a year with two female candidates. So the color they show is the color of their own prejudices. If there are race problems in America it is because of people like this, who stoke the flames of race, instead of treating all people equally. Hypocrisy and racism don’t sound like the kind of change and new direction we are looking for.

This Barack Obama Presidential Debate Quote Says it All

Friday, October 17th, 2008

“But when people suggest that I pal around with terrorists, then we’re not talking about issues.” — Barack Obama, during the 3rd Presidential debate

Barack Obama is deceptively right. They are talking about facts when they bring up William Ayers, not issues. Talk about issues and you can avoid the facts and your lack of judgement. Convincing others to stay on the issues and not make character an “issue” has and will be the strategy for Barack Obama.

Stick to the issues and avoid the facts and you don’t even need a good plan as long as you can identify a problem. Look how far Hillary Clinton got on the health care issue. Never mind that she had 8 years in the White House with Bill Clinton to get something done. Stick to the issue, show you care and promise the world.  Just avoid the facts.

Talk about facts and you are accused of running a negative campaign. You are accused of being hostile or grumpy. If John McCain is to pull the election off he has to stick with the facts no matter how much they call it negative campaigning. He cannot out promise Obama. Even Hillary Clinton couldn’t do that.

Rush Limbaugh Concurs With My Fox News Debate Analysis Criticism

Thursday, October 16th, 2008

Rush Limbaugh spent a good amount of time today criticizing the Fox News all-stars post-debate analysis. I wrote my criticism for Fox News and MSNBC out of irritation a little past midnight last night.  According to Rush, there were plenty of people who saw the Presidential debate summary the same way. Rush, who is friends with some of these guys, lamented as he gave a solid dose of right on evaluation.

“The Fox All-Stars have become elites too.” — Rush Limbaugh

I don’t know if some of these guys have become elites or liberals – or if they simply have gotten too lazy to do anything but follow the polls like puppy dogs. What good are commentators and analysts if all they can do is read poll numbers? Weather girls just starting out in broadcasting have a tougher job than that.

These guys remind me of the experts who come on at the end of the day and tell you why the stock market went up or down. It could go up or down just 20 points and they will tell you why it did, even though that kind of market movement is basically a wash. Funny they don’t accurately tell you at the beginning of most days if the market will be up or down and about how much. But at the end of the day they tell you exactly why it did what it did. “The market was down 10 points on news that Joe the Plumber doesn’t like Barack Obama’s tax plan.” They usually sound like they know what they are talking about, though obviously it is often nothing more than a guess.

The news analysts come out and tell you Barack Obama was the winner because he was smooth or because he didn’t screw up. Flawed polls tell them that John McCain needs to pull off a deer in the headlights moment on Barack Obama. Why can’t they just do their jobs? What happened to breaking down and analyzing the facts, or lack thereof? Instead it is about fluff, instead of substance.

Fox News and MSNBC Election Debate Analysis a Joke

Thursday, October 16th, 2008

We live in a world where you can’t discuss issues and facts in regards to Barack Obama or else you are considered racist. I watched a little of the pre-debate coverage on MSNBC and then a little post-debate coverage on Fox News. I wasn’t impressed with either, to say the least.

These guys at MSNBC say the only way Obama can lose the election is if people are racist. Chris Mathews and Keith Olbermann are the news version of professional wrestling. The only difference is that most wrestlers will tell you it’s entertainment. The MSNBC guys have the script written up ahead of time. Before the debate or anything political they are prepared to tell you something happened even if it doesn’t. They are as partisan as anybody in the news has ever been. They wouldn’t say McCain won a debate with Barack Obama no matter what happened.

I expected more from the folks at Fox News, but didn’t get much more analysis out of them. All you get is that Obama has to screw up to lose. I don’t know how many times I have heard that in the last month. I guess if it’s close at all Affirmative Action gives it to Barack Obama. Whatever happened to the facts? Do we vote based on who is the smoothest? As long as you don’t get flustered when you get caught in a lie then you won the exchange? God help us all if we have become that superficial. God help us if we vote for someone to cleanse the country for it’s past sins by voting for someone solely because they are black. There are so many qualified people who are minorities – why should we settle for someone who’s character is so much in question?

Barack Obama chose to associate with William Ayers and ACORN. With Antoin Tony Rezko and Jeremiah Wright. If you put together all the questionable associations of all the Presidents in our history, it wouldn’t equal the corrupt friends of Barack Obama. That has nothing to do with racism. It is about trust and character. In this case the lack of it. If it weren’t for the media’s incompetence, these facts would not be so slow coming out. Everything is about who won. Who won? Who looked better? What do the plants, who claim to be undecided, say after the debate?… What about the damn facts?

I singled out Fox News and MSNBC because I caught some of the coverage. Obviously this kind of superficial coverage is not exclusive to those networks. It is amazing how many so called analysts are so afraid to be called racist and are so afraid to be wrong. If the polls say something they have to agree. Is there any analysis in that? They almost always have to pick the favorite. Be a man/ woman and say what you think, not what you think you are supposed to say. Fair weather reporting is all this is. Bandwagon jumping and lack of courage…

I know what the fake journalists at MSNBC like to try to do. They try to influence opinion. They believe there are enough suckers out there who can be told who to vote for. People who can’t think for themselves. They quote the polls that don’t include likely voters and don’t include an equal number of republicans vs democrats. That is an effort to influence and nothing more. If John McCain and Barack Obama’s personalities were reversed they would say McCain was too passive and Obama showed strong command. Instead they say Obama is calm and McCain is hostile. Ugh.

The rest of the news analysts who don’t try to influence with polls bow to the polls. This again, at the expense of the facts. Never mind the fact that polls are very inaccurate. That’s why they take them every day and why they change almost every day. Most people don’t change their minds that often, even in the year 2008. Polls are not accurate. So why are they in the news every day? Where is the news? Sean Hannity says jouralism is dead in the year 2008. Maybe before this year it was just in a coma.

I have never been a fan of John McCain. That being said, there is such a stark difference in policies and character that I cannot bring myself to vote for Barack Obama. Guilt for the sins of people who walked the earth long before I did is not enough to vote for someone who has aligned themselves with enemies of America.

How John McCain Can Make the Ayers, Acorn and Rezko Connections to Barack Obama in the Debate

Wednesday, October 15th, 2008

The problem with making the case for Barack Obama’s radical ties to William Ayers, Acorn and Antoin Tony Rezko in the debate is, of course, the format and time restraints. John McCain needs to answer the moderators question, make the point he needs to make and fend off the Barack Obama curve balls all in 2 minute bits. A very tall order.

There is a very simple way to do this. You make your quick points and you refer people to your website, which should be set up with the facts and sources for those facts. He needs to make the point that I made about how it is hard to tie all this together in 2 minute’s time and refer them several times to his site.

The facts are available. I’ve heard candidates refer people to their sites before. Most people don’t go because those sites or nothing more than bios and fluffy promises that can’t be kept. I just visited John McCain’s site and there just isn’t much there yet of substance regarding Barack Obama’s associations.

In this case, John Mccain can tell people that he has clearly laid out the truth on his site for whoever really wants truth. He can use mainstream media sources for the facts. He just has to extract the facts from the other 95% of the news article(s) which basically go on to make excuses for Barack Obama. McCain just needs to keep it organized and perhaps put out a press release which also ties everything together. Think about it – how many visits would he get to his website if he plugs it during the debate and makes it sound worth visiting? McCain needs to think out of the box given that Barack Obama has a lot more money to spend than he does.

McCain doesn’t need to attack Barack Obama. People can decide whether this is someone who is easily deceived by corrupt anti-Americans or whether he really subscribes to it all. Does it really matter that much? Who wants someone who can be fooled that easily? Barack Obama wants to talk to people like Ahmadinejad without preconditions. This could be the start of a good friendship. He can come back with a treaty and tell the American people we can work with the Hitler of our time. A fairytale ending… Or an ending where history, as it so often does, repeats itself.

One thing is for sure – John McCain needs to somehow get this stuff out and peak the interest of the American people, especially the undecideds. I think about 50% of the undecided vote is oblivious to all of this. Forget the Ayers connection and Acorn voter fraud, I don’t think a lot of these people even know about the racist anti-American preacher that Barack Obama attended for 20 years. The one that married him and his wife. The one he said he couldn’t disown – right before he disowned him.

The truth is, given his radical associations, we don’t know if Barack Obama is a Christian Obama or Islama Obama. We knew very well that Mitt Romney was a Mormon. For some reason that was important, but this isn’t. We also know that Barack Obama’s preacher was not a preacher of the Bible most Americans believe in. So what does Obama believe? Of course we don’t know for sure, but John McCain could put that Jeremiah Wright video up on his site along with the other facts on Obama’s dealings with Ayers, Acorn and Rezko.

John McCain could possibly still win if he doesn’t go hard after these associations, but it will be a tall order. Given that there are less than 3 weeks left, there is no time to depend on the media to report the facts with any sense of fairness and decency. History says the media will fall on the ball and cover up for all they are worth and just try to run out the clock.

Acorn Voter Fraud – 2004 Elections Need to be Investigated

Tuesday, October 14th, 2008

The Acorn Voter fraud scandal that is breaking probably runs much deeper than the 2008 Presidential election. It is so organized and widespread that you can be sure this probably went on during the 2004 elections. Any race that was decided by less than 5 or 6 percent should be looked at with a fine tooth comb. People thought a few hanging chads was an election nightmare. There is a big difference between not being sure what someone intended to vote and thousands upon thousands of fraudulent registrations and votes aimed right at a particular candidate. Did Obama gain advantage this way against Hillary Clinton?

The fact that Barrack Obama has been very closely connected to this group is also just the tip of the iceberg. When you see that some of the other shameful associations of Obama are actually connected to ACORN as well – it is just incredible. Reverend Jeremiah Wright and the unrepentant terrorist William Ayers just to name a couple. These are not October surprises. They have been out there for a while, but they are just starting to get some attention thanks to the new media. How much will come out before the election in the mainstream media is the question. There is no doubt that this is deep and damning for Obama.

You see how the Antoin Tony Rezko corruption case has been given very little attention given the seriousness of it. That too is being held down for dear life. The real race isn’t Barrack Obama vs John McCain. The real race is Obama against the clock. Can these scandals be largely hidden from the American public for the next 3 weeks? I know the mainstream media will do it’s best to downplay it all. If Obama wins the election I’m not sure there is a scandal big enough to do anything about, given the stranglehold the liberals will have on this government.

The fact that ACORN is an activist organization that pushed Congress, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to give loans to people who never had a chance to pay them back should be enough for anyone to understand just what this organization, with the help of Barack Obama, has done to this country. Think about that. The economic results of that have been all over the media, yet the connection of how it came about has been glossed over. Think about the possibility that we have people holding high offices in government that might not even have won their election. We know already that they have tried to fix this election.

Is this the change Barack Obama promised? A man who has never stood up to his own party? This isn’t change. This is Jimmy Carter in a young body. If only it was limited to being that bad. This is dirty politics at it’s worse. The only change is that it’s worse than it has ever been. Perhaps we should dig up Richard Nixon and apologize to him for the way he had to live out the rest of his life in shame for his corruption. Richard Nixon looks like a saint compared to Barack Obama.

Michael Savage Announces the Start of the Savage Nation Party

Friday, October 10th, 2008

Michael Savage has announced on his radio show the start of a 3rd party. He is running an exploration committee and will be the architect of the Savage Nation Party. The name, however, is open to suggestions. My own suggestions would be the Freedom Nation Party or the Savage Freedom Party…

This will not be like the independent party, which is really just a catch-all for candidates that don’t make the cut in the democrat or republican parties, especially the democrat party. This will be a party based on solid principles, not a middle of the road party that the republican party has more and more transformed into. It certainly won’t be the party of anti-Christianity, which the democratic party has transformed into. So what will form the foundation of the Savage Nation Party? The founding principles will be based on something Dr. Savage frequently brings up on his popular radio talk show – borders, language and culture. You can bet that it will be a pro family party.

While many will shrug off his idea, if he actually follows through you will see a major shakeup of the political world. A few seats here or there can change everything. Just think what might have happened if there was a strong conservative candidate put up by a 3rd party this year. The parties were all nervous when Ralph Nader and Ross Perot ran for President. They were not serious contenders, yet a few percentage points of the vote is enough to put fear into the political parties. Imagine a 3rd party candidate that truly represented the people.

Will Michael Savage go through with it? I suppose the response he gets will be the telling factor. He is definately big enough of a player to change the political landscape. There is a big political void to be filled and he already has a built in base of people looking for real change. Wouldn’t it be something if Michael Savage was the one who actually got it done…

“It is code red in the United States of America. It is code red because both parties are sacking this country… These vermin don’t care what is going on. Great oaks from little acorns grow. As we can see the gangsters working for Obama created a little acorn called ACORN. And from this little acorn called acorn they have created a great oak of voter fraud… The lord spoke to me and said you have more important work to do.”

– Michael Savage on his radio show – 10.09.08
