Palestinian Terrorists Invite Wrath Upon Their People

Friday, December 26th, 2008

While most believers and non believers were enjoying the peace of Christmas, Palestinian militants fired about 100 rockets and mortar shells into Israel. A rocket aimed at Israel even killed 2 Palestinians when it misfired and hit a Palestinian home.

Israel is preparing for a major offensive in response to the Palestinian terrorist attacks. You need not be surprised by what may follow after listening to the quotes coming out of Israel:

“We will not accept this situation. Whoever harms the citizens and soldiers of Israel will pay a heavy price.” — Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak

“I am telling them now, it may be the last minute, I’m telling them stop it. We are stronger.” — Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert

“Enough is enough. When there’s shooting, there’s a response. Any state would react that way.” — Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni

The unholy timing hits not only at Christmas time, but at a time when America, their closest ally changes leaders.  Terrorists likely feel their best hope of getting away with such attacks are during the closing down of President Bush’s leadership and the arrival of a President they feel will be more sympathetic to their brutal ways.

Israel is facing their own elections, further complicating the matter. If the current leaders don’t properly deal with the situation, Benjamin Netanyahu will if he’s elected. Maybe the terrorist’s strategy is to invite a strong reaction from the current regime, in hopes of satisfying the Israeli citizens enough to keep out a tougher leader in Netanyahu.

The attacks come at a time when Iran is on the brink of possessing nuclear weapons as well as others. Will America stand with it’s closest ally when Barack Obama officially becomes President? It seems certain that Israel will have to respond in a big way to the attacks, both real and threatened on it’s citizens, with or without help from America.

Kosovo Prime Minister: Bush Street a Sign of National Respect and Appreciation for the United States

Wednesday, December 24th, 2008

Kosovo’s cabinet has unanimously decided to name a central street of its capital Pristina after President Bush for his support of the territory’s split from Serbia. Bush Street will be linked to the main thoroughfare named after Mother Teresa. Not too shabby, Mr. Bush.

“A sign of the huge state and national respect and appreciation for the United States contribution to independence.” — Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci

You always hear about the disrespect and lack of appreciation around the world from the media. Things like this and the positive response from Iraq and the Iraqi reporters after the shoe throwing incident show there are a lot of people out there who do truly appreciate the United States of America. The media could report on such positive things all the time, but they choose to show the ungrateful people when it’s not a liberal President.

The media has built the momentum that the United States is hated around the world. They glorified the shoe thrower more than they did the reporters who stood up for him. To portray that everybody would choose to be ruled by a vicious tyrant like Saddam Hussein rather than have freedom shows how far they will go with propaganda and also shows that a lot of people sadly buy into it. I am sure this will miraculously change and the media will show a loved America under Barack Obama. That is, if he does things their way.

The Unanswered Question in BlagoGate

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008

There is so much yet to come out, but right now there is one question at minimum that still needs to be answered: If there was no negotiation with Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich (Blago), how did he know Obama wouldn’t give him anything for the Senate seat?

I didn’t hear anybody in Obama’s camp call Blago a liar in regards to that statement. They claimed they offered nothing, but didn’t address how Blago knew Obama would offer nothing. If they knew the Illinois Governor was shopping the Senate seat they should have reported that themselves. That knowledge would bring a level of guilt to Rahm Emanuel, if not Barack Obama.

Barack Obama/Greg Craig have released a contact list of people who spoke with Blago in regards to the Senate seat. Not much in there, as you might guess, but there is more fuel in regards to my question:

The President-Elect understood that Rahm Emanuel would relay these names to the Governor’s office as additions to the pool of qualified candidates who might already be under consideration. Mr. Emanuel subsequently confirmed to the President that he had in fact relayed these names. At no time in the discussion of the Senate seat or of possible replacements did the President-Elect hear of a suggestion that the Governor expected a personal benefit in return for making this appointment to the Senate.

So again, how did Blagojevich know Obama wouldn’t offer anything:

“They’re not willing to give me anything but appreciation. Fuck them.”

That doesn’t sound like anger from someone who was assuming they wouldn’t offer him anything. That is someone who appears to have been scorned.

There will be a lot more to come in this scandal, but the refusal of Barack Obama to give anything for the Senate seat would lay guilt at the feet of Obama for not doing anything about that crime. Allowing criminal activity like that would be, well… criminal.

GPS Jesus

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008

Baby Jesus has been strolling away from the manger in places all over the country. So now many places are using global positioning systems (GPS) to track the baby Jesus. It can be set to notify people when Jesus wanders off a certain distance and of course help to find him and sometimes his captors.

It is sad that these kinds of measures are needed, but that is the world we live in today. Some people are beneath low. Perhaps it is part of the war on Christmas. There are a lot of people who intentionally won’t say “Merry Christmas” anymore and some who take it to extremes. I am sure there are other interesting uses for the GPS technology, in addition to monitoring baby Jesus.

Russia Pushing Israel’s Hand With Missile Delivery to Iran

Monday, December 22nd, 2008

Maybe you weren’t concerned about Russia’s motives in Cuba this past week? Now Russia has begun delivering S-300 air defense systems, probably amongst other things to Iran. Iran is working on nuclear weapons and is home to the Hitler of our time – the Jew hating Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Russia is aiding Iran with a so-called nuclear power plant, something every oil rich nation trying to cover up a nuclear program could use.

It was just October when Russia’s Foreign Ministry denied selling the S-300 systems to Iran saying: ”Moscow has no intention of selling weapons to troubled regions.” The Russian bear is apparently not an honest bear.

Israel and the United States have vowed to not allow Iran to make a nuclear weapon. The estimate for when Iran will complete it’s program changes faster than the weather. Since there are usually secrets unknown, one should assume they are very close.

Russia’s actions could hasten Israel’s plans to stop Mahmoud ‘little Hitler’ Ahmadinejad. Ahmadinejad’s threats against Israel should be taken every bit as seriously as any terrorist. He seems someone who only lacks opportunity and appears willing to commit unspeakable acts against Jews. I don’t know if Barack Obama will stick by our ally Israel. I am reasonably sure that Israel will deal with Iran sooner or later. Russia seems set to make that day come sooner.

Evander Holyfield Nearly Takes the Heavyweight Title at Age 46

Evander Holyfield Battles Nikolai Valuev

Evander Holyfield Battles Nikolai Valuev

Evander Holyfield nearly became the oldest heavyweight boxing champion, losing a very close battle with the 7 foot Russian champion Nikolai Valuev. Some would say he was robbed again. One judge had it a draw and another had it a 1 point contest.

Evander ‘The Real Deal’ Holyfield vows to keep after his quest for another title. George Foreman became champion at 45 beating the 26 year old Michael Moorer. Foreman has contemplated a comeback into his late 50′s, but that was basically squashed by his wife. I saw it on Family Foreman. Ha ha. I’d love to see him slug it out with the 7 foot Russian!

Evander Holyfield has lost a number of tough close fights over the past decade, but has probably been the only guy who has consistently been a true contender throughout that time. He has certainly been the only consistent draw out there. Holyfield now sports a 42-10 record. Nikolai Valuev has an impressive record of 50-1, although he hasn’t fought nearly the caliber of opponents as Holyfield.

Evander Holyfield/Nikolai Valuev Fight Quotes:

“He was a strong opponent and he made me work very hard for the win. It was a challenging fight, it was a hard fight, he was unbelievably fast with his punches. I am proud to have fought him, it was a fast paced fight.” — Heavyweight Champ Nikolai Valuev

“We didn’t fail. We won that fight here. As far as I am concerned, we won and anyone who knows me knows I call a spade a spade.” — Thomas Brooks, Evander Holyfield’s coach

“I don’t doubt myself, people doubt me, but I have a history of proving people wrong… I can still do it. I put in a good performance and it will be better if I fight him again. I thought I had won the fight, I thought I had won more rounds than he did. Now I will just have to go home, rest and think about my future. My goal is to be heavyweight champion of the world, I am not interested in fighting for the sake of fighting, I want to be a champion again.” — Evander Holyfield
