Ronald Reagan and American Idol Beat Out Barack Obama

Thursday, January 22nd, 2009

Hard to imagine with all the media hype, but Reagan and Idol topped the ratings for Obama’s Presidential Inauguration. The Gipper even did it back in 1981, no doubt without the billions worth of extra free publicity. A study actually shows that Obama received 35 times more news coverage than George W. Bush according to a Reuters news article. To think that Ronald Reagan and American Idol were still able to top it is amazing.

Not to burst the Barack Obama bubble any more than it is, but not only were inaugural balls cancelled due to low attendance, the crowd at the inauguration appears to have been well below estimates and may not have even topped Lyndon Johnson’s 1965 record crowd. The good news is the crowd probably was larger than jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, so the Obama camp could be celebrating that.

Supreme Court Says No Again to Protecting Children – More Injustice

Wednesday, January 21st, 2009

When it comes to protecting children from filthy online sexually explicit material, the Supreme Court injustices can find any reason to protect these creatures. It amazes me how any excuse can be used to pass some bogus law, yet they are about first amendment rights when it comes to the worst predators. I guess maybe its vermin protecting vermin.

The Child Online Protection Act (Mukasey v. ACLU 08-565) would have protected children from harmful sexual material over the internet. There are obviously not enough safeguards in place when a child can receive unsolicited porn in an email. If there were sufficient enforced laws in place improper materials would not be so easily available to a child.

So many kids are exposed to this stuff now before they even know what sex is. How can that not be harmful, especially given the nature of most of this material? Don’t you want your child to grow up to respect themselves as well as their mate? Do you want them to see same sex pictures and videos before they are even old enough to let nature take its course?

This stuff is not only easily available, it can be stumbled upon by a child without trying. This issue is not about the rights of adults to access this stuff. Its about keeping it away from kids. There have been kids who have forcefully violated other children because of things they saw. These kids hadn’t even reached puberty, but they were acting out what they saw online.

The politicians do little to protect children from things they should be protected from, but when it comes to trying to make themselves look good they pass some kind of dopey law such as prohibiting a pedophile from being out on halloween. That really solves that problem. From top to bottom, our lawmakers/politicians have failed us badly.

There are so many ridiculous laws out there, many of which are open to interpretation. The only ones who benefit from that are people in the broken legal system. I don’t think the average American can go a day without breaking a law, usually unknowingly. Yet, the simple act of keeping warped material out of the hands of impressionable children is out of their grasp.

Perhaps the most important and overlooked aspect of the past Presidential election was the power to appoint the next Supreme Court justices. Most of the abominable decisions of the Supreme Court over the last several decades have been passed down by the liberal judges who legislate from the bench. A couple have been appointed by Republicans, but most by Democrats. If you don’t like these decisions you need to take the partisan blinders off. With so many close decisions made on the Supreme Court, Barack Obama’s picks could potentially result in a country that is unrecognizable.

There have been so many horrible decisions that defend the vile and hurt the decent. Americans have quietly lost their rights to their own property because of these rats. The eminent domain law they passed basically means someone’s home/property can be taken against their will for economic development for such things as a Walmart, hotel or car wash… It used to be only used for such things as a highway or a school. Now countless people have had local politicians trying to rip away their homes. All private property is now vulnerable to being taken away.

George W. Bush was hated for allegedly taking some rights away from terrorists. These lowlifes have already taken more rights and pushed more garbage on Americans than a hundred George Bush’s would have done. Porn producers and terrorists seem to have more favor with the Supreme Court and the ACLU than average Americans do.

A while back two Supreme Court Justices voted against upholding criminal penalties for promoting child pornography. So called Justices David Souter and Ruth Bader Ginsburg were the two. Surprise, surprise – two justices with a history of legislating from the bench. These two were also on wrong side of the eminent domain abomination, amongst other things. They can manipulate and mold the constitution whenever they want to push their extremist agenda, but can use very crafty excuses to block something that is constitutional. Freedom of speech is fast becoming a hate crime, but child porn is freedom of expression to these perverters of the constitution.

The incompetent and corrupt media has spent so much of its time bashing George W. Bush that Supreme Court issues receive very little time. In fact, the media has spent more time following and glorifying the mentally challenged in Hollywood than they have covering these Supreme Court decisions. Wake up and be aware of who is really taking away your rights as Americans.

Barack Obama Vows to Fix Warming Planet While Hundreds are Treated for Cold Weather Related Ailments at Inauguration

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009

Barack Obama said during his inaugural speech: “we will work tirelessly to lessen the nuclear threat, and roll back the specter of a warming planet.” Meanwhile, hundreds of people had to be treated for cold weather related emergencies during the inauguration, despite numerous heating tents being set up. Now that is a gaffe. Trying to push global warming while people are freezing is worse than when Joe Biden tried to get Senator Chuck Graham to stand up, forgetting he was wheelchair bound.

That wasn’t Obama’s only blunder during his inauguration. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts erred when reading the oath of office to Obama and on Roberts’ second try Obama recited the first incorrect line from Roberts. It is a 35 word oath (or was), so its tough to imagine. Was former President George W. Bush unable to recite his oath at either inauguration? President Barack Hussein Obama was unable to properly complete his. I think these things are newsworthy considering all the ridicule George W. Bush received for having a speech problem. Barack is supposed to be the great speaker.

Inauguration Racism by Reverend Wright Light: Joseph Lowery

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009

Barack Obama might as well have had Jeremiah Wright deliver the benediction. Some people can’t get along no matter what happens. On a day celebrating the first “black” President, Reverend Joseph Lowery delivered the inaugural ceremony’s benediction which included racist remarks:

“We ask you to help us work for that day when black will not be asked to give back, when brown can stick around, when yellow will be mellow, when the red man can get ahead, man, and when white will embrace what is right.”

I guess if you are white or asian you can’t hide your racist ways no matter what you do. I don’t know if Barack Obama approved of that message, but I don’t. People need to get up to speed with the times and at least agree that America as a whole is not racist. To say otherwise would be to say Barack Obama did not legitimately win the Presidency.

Barack Obama also had gay Bishop Eugene Robinson give a prayer. I always have doubts when a Christian promotes homosexuality as the Bible so strongly rejects that. I wonder why they would want to preach things counter to the Bible they believe in. In Robinson’s case, you would never know he was a Christian, since he did not mention the God of the Bible. In fact he said: “every religion’s God judges us by the way we care…” Amazing.

I hate to say it, but Barack Obama is off to a bad start. The most expensive inauguration in history. The largest carbon footprint in inauguration history. now, with these so called Christians, you can top it off with what I feel is borderline blasphemy, if there can be such a thing. Can these things all be a coincidence? It is amazing how some people can’t let go of the past, except when it comes to the real things that America was founded on. That they can let go of very easily.

Barack Obama Gives a Ronald Reagan Worded Inaugural Speech – Inauguration Carbon Footprint Exceeds 575 Million Pounds of CO2

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009

Barack Obama gave an excellent speech at his inauguration. He is excellent at giving speeches as we learned from the Presidential campaign. His speech was shockingly similar to Ronald Reagan’s first inaugural address, which you can view a little of below. Reagan, however, did not include delusional references to a warming planet at a time when so many people are suffering because of the cold. He also didn’t do the socialism thing.

Can Obama govern as well as give a good speech? Well, he is off to a bad start when you not only consider this was the most expensive inauguration in history, but the carbon footprint was historic as well. 575 million pounds of CO2. It takes the average U.S. household 57,598 years to come up with a carbon footprint like that.

Some 600 private jets were expected for the inaugural festivities. Gotta love Hollywood. They preach restraint and indulge like there is no tomorrow. So many people buy it though. You always hear about how wonderful and caring these guys are. They are - as long as it is your money and your conservation efforts.

Hopefully Barack Obama can be a strong leader and recognize the real threats America faces. Hopefully when its over he can leave with class like George W. Bush. Hopefully he does not show a lack of dignity like Jimmy Carter in snubbing Bill Clinton like a spoiled child.

It is time to put away speeches and lead. If you want to see a leader who gave a good speech and was an amazingly strong leader you can check out Ronald Reagan’s inaugural speech. See How similar Barack’s words were to Ronald Reagan’s.

Martin Luther King Jr. Quote Reveals George W. Bush Resembles King More Than Barack Obama

Monday, January 19th, 2009

A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus. –Martin Luther King, Jr.

That Martin Luther King quote more resembles George W. Bush than to Barack H. Obama. George W. Bush paid a political price for doing what he felt was right, as opposed to public opinion or media pressure. So far in Barack Obama’s political career he has been a hardliner for the liberal party. We’ll see if he has the courage to go against his party and do things his own way.

Barack Obama is not Martin Luther King Jr. If he wants to be more like him he will live the following King quotes as well:

“He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it.”

Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.”

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”

“I submit to you that if a man hasn’t discovered something that he will die for, he isn’t fit to live.”

“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”

“Never forget that everything Hitler did in Germany was legal.”

Hillary Clinton Wasn’t Barack Obama’s First Choice for Secretary of State

Monday, January 19th, 2009

Not only did Hillary Clinton get snubbed as Barack Obama’s Vice President – she was second fiddle for Secretary of State to none other than Joe Biden! It appears Joe Biden’s wife is as prone to verbal blunders as the Vice President is.

Joe Biden‘s wife said on the Oprah Winfrey show that he had a pick of two jobs in the Obama administration. Biden immediately tried to “shush” his wife, but it was too late.

“Joe had the choice to be secretary of state or vice president.” — Jill Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden

Not only was that revealed, but Jill Biden made the choice that Joe take the job as Vice President:

“If you’re secretary of state, you’ll be away, we’ll never see you, you know.  If you’re vice president, the entire family, because they worked so hard for the election, can be involved.”

Biden did not deny the revelations, but his spokesman later claimed that it wasn’t true. I guess it is better to make Biden’s wife look crazy than for people to know the truth that Hillary Clinton was not Barack Obama’s first choice. One can only wonder if she was second choice.
