I guess it shouldn’t be a surprise that Hollywood would release a hit piece against a sitting President on the eve of a Presidential election. What I would hope would underscore the depths of Oliver Stone and Hollywood in general is that they could sink so low as to use Chinese funding for it. Even some of Hollywood’s biggest studios would not partake in such a vile and obvious attempt to influence the American public on the eve of an election. Of course the attempt here is to hurt John McCain since Barack Obama and the media have tried to make him out to be “just another” George W. Bush.

Even if it wasn’t an election year, to bash a sitting President with a hit piece full of distortions is low even for Hollywood. That is usually left to The New York Times or CBS Evening News to do. Strange that only a few months ago “Maverick” was very frequently a part of McCain’s title. Not so much anymore. What a coincidence at this time after all these years we find out John McCain really isn’t a maverick… 

Oliver Stone is a weasel who strangely likes to do historical movies by rewriting history. Unfortunately he’s had a lot of money to burn over the years and now has the help of some more people who hate America. If you are a patriotic American please stay away from this movie, even if you are not happy with President Bush. There is an agenda here that may seem subtle, but it is there nonetheless and a patriotic American would not want to support it. Let the sheeple flock to see the brainwashing rubbish. Go see something with a dose of humor and patriotism like An American Carol or just save your money. Don’t give it to Oliver Stone. The town drunk would probably be more responsible with your money than this guy.

What a world we live in where people demand that other people’s views be silenced. So many radical extreme left liberals have demanded that Michael Savage be removed from the air that you really have to wonder if people would prefer living in the United States or Nazi Germany. It is interesting that the same people tend not to have a problem with Christian bashing and Jew bashing.

Michael Savage does sometimes say some crazy things, but sometimes it is simply his method of getting people to ponder certain issues. Whether you disagree with his opinions or his methods, you don’t have to listen. Who are you to decide what freedom loving people should listen to?

The autism comments that Michael Savage came under fire for were so badly taken out of context it is shameful. Michael Savage has actually been a champion for children with special needs. You may not like his methods, but he was making a point that some people abuse the system and there is a tendency in society to over medicate children. You might disagree with that opinion, but to accuse him of being some kind of hater of children with disabilities is vicious, to say the least.

Obviously there are a lot of people who need medication and Dr. Savage does not dispute that. There are abuses in every area of life, and no doubt he is correct on this. He knows about the drug Risperdal, which is an antipsychotic medication that is now being used on children with mild cases of A.D.D. I know first hand about that myself. Once a child starts getting certain medications, you may never be able to get them off of them. If they are labeled as mentally challenged or disabled, there are certain decisions they might never get to make in life and you might not have the right to make them for them. It is a slippery slope. Borderline cases should be handled with care. You just don’t know what psychotic drugs are doing to someones emotions or their long term physical and mental health. 

Dr. Savage is also correct when he basically says that some people are being labeled with Attention Deficit Disorder who are simply spoiled children. I believe that based on common sense and observation. People have been brainwashed into thinking that teaching their children right from wrong is harmful. Schools today don’t want to be bothered with working with parents with kids who have behavioral problems. Obviously the epidemic of problem children, no matter what the diagnosis, shows a potential connection.

Savage tends to exaggerate to make a point and often shoots from the hip. I sometimes like Michael Savage and sometimes I can’t stand him. I also know how to turn a radio off or turn the channel if I don’t like what I hear. That is the way America is supposed to work.

I sense an ulterior motive when people exaggerate, distort and take out of context what people say. Michael Savage has a way of getting people’s attention. It is very easy to pick out a sentence or two and make it look like he is the devil. That is like shooting fish in a barrel. It is amazing how many comments I’ve seen that refer to his autism opinions as hateful comments “toward” children with autism… That is just dirty pool.

I doubt most people who are trying to make out Michael Savage to be a hater of children actually heard the shows in question. They obviously don’t like him, and I suspect they have their own cool-aid stand somewhere else. People like that are not looking for a fair debate. They are looking for suckers to mislead.

Maybe Michael Savage’s detractors don’t know or pretend not to know about Savage’s brother who was institutionalized and never uttered a word in his entire life. Michael Savage knows about the reality of children with mental disabilities. He also knows about the reality of abuses that can cause those truly in need to not get the attention so desperately needed.

Michael Savage might be a little crude in his methods, but his taking the kicks may have caused more than a few to give the subject some serious and rational thought. Perhaps it may have saved a few kids from being falsely labeled and saved them from a lifetime of medications and the limitations that come with that. Maybe as a result, a few with serious learning disabilities will receive a little more attention by not having to compete with those who are improperly labeled. Lets face it, there is always a gray area and we should make sure that they err on the side of caution when it comes to giving children unnecessary medications…

Perhaps the hate mongers who hover over Mr. Savage, waiting for a one-liner they can run with are afraid he is on to something. Otherwise they would disagree and debate, not distort and mislead.

 

Barack Obama’s sex education for Kindergarteners is finally getting some attention. I wrote about this over a year ago… John McCain has a new commercial out referencing Obama’s frightening views. Rush Limbaugh also spent a decent amount of time talking about it this week. It’s an old story that has somehow been ignored up till now.

I’m not really surprised that the media ignores it, or that the liberals running against Obama in the democrat primary didn’t make issue of it, but it’s frustrating. You start to wonder what world you are living in when this isn’t a huge issue. I can’t imagine a normal person being ok with teaching sex ed to 5 year old children. Barack has even said that his wife has taught their 6 year old about homosexuality. Don’t you think voters should know about it?

I hope John McCain runs those ads until every citizen in the United States of America knows about it. Liberals repeat lies until they become facts to many people. When you have facts that would sicken most Americans, I think it should be repeated daily until it is understood. How many people would support this for children? I think a large percentage of people would consider it child abuse. Do you want it forced on your kids by your school?

Beware of the “age appropriate” justification they offer. How vague can you be? Who decides what is appropriate? A stranger does. Some of the course objectives of the sex education legislation are listed below.

Barack Obama voted yes to bill SB0099. Here is just a little of it:

Course material and instruction shall stress that sexually transmitted infections are serious possible hazards of sexual activity or behavior.

Pupils shall be provided with statistics based on the latest medical information citing the failure and success rates of all contraceptive methods in preventing unintended pregnancy and HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.

Course material and instruction shall teach pupils to not make unwanted physical and verbal sexual advances and how to say no to unwanted sexual advances and shall include information about verbal, physical, and visual sexual harassment, including without limitation nonconsensual sexual advances, non consensual physical sexual contact, and rape by an acquaintance.

Course material and instruction shall teach male pupils about male accountability for sexual violence.

Here is some interesting things that were struck out of the language (amazing) :

sexual abstinence until marriage

abstinence is an effective method of preventing unintended is the expected norm in that abstinence from sexual intercourse is the only protection that  is 100% effective against unwanted teenage pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, and HIV acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) when transmitted sexually.

Course material and instruction shall teach honor and respect for monogamous heterosexual marriage. Course material and instruction shall stress that pupils should abstain from sexual intercourse until they are ready for marriage.
Course material and instruction shall include a discussion of the possible emotional and psychological consequences of preadolescent and adolescent sexual intercourse outside of marriage and the consequences of unwanted adolescent pregnancy.

such courses of instruction shall include the teaching of prevention of unintended pregnancy and all options related to unintended  pregnancy,  as the alternatives to abortion,

Much of what is in the program is probably very good — for high school students. But for kindergarteners? How can you teach this stuff without teaching them what sex is? Despite how vague they are on what is age appropriate for kindergarteners or other ages as well, there is one part that isn’t so vague. “Course material and instruction shall be free of sexual orientation biases.” Therefore you can expect your child to be told that gay sex is perfectly normal. What age is that appropriate? If you believe in any of the major religions of the world the answer would be never.

The ironic and sick part of it is Obama supported infanticide because he was worried that the Born Alive Infant Protection Act could somehow be misinterpreted to be an “anti-abortion statute,” despite the law only applying to fully born babies. He’s not worried about this abomination being misinterpreted.

The whole thing is ridiculous. How do you accurately teach about the risks of sexually transmitted diseases without offending homosexuals? Can you teach that aids and other sexually transmitted diseases run higher for homosexual activity? Would it be against the law to teach the statistics of that? Most likely. We’ve been getting closer to this kind of world without the help of Barack Obama. Again, all this stuff is up to strangers to decide. Most likely if someone did teach statistics that showed the additional risks of homosexual activity they would be fired.

You really have to question the motives of anybody who supports such despicable legislation. The whole thing is so vague it is open to countless abuses. Abuse of little children - in the classroom… Just who is Barack Obama really trying to help here? I’ve never been a big John McCain fan, but how anyone could vote for Obama knowing what he supports and knowing how he tries to double talk his way out of it is beyond me. Are you ready for that world?

This week’s terrorist attack in China left at least 16 policemen dead and about an equal number injured. The terrorists were described as two men from a “mainly Muslim ethnic group.” They rammed a truck into and hurled explosives at jogging policemen. The savages also hacked the police officers with knives.

This shows the difficulty of dealing with terrorism, when one of the most oppressive governments in the world like China is hit like this. It also shows that someone in the United States must have been doing something right for the last 7 years to keep attacks down - considering how much easier it is for a free country to be hit.

The last place a terrorist wants to be caught is in China. You will be lucky if you have your vital organs for another year, much less getting your desired food or having your warped religious beliefs catered to. Places like China make Guantanamo Bay look like a country club for the very rich.

Although you will only hear about the attacks that can’t be covered up, China has more problems than just Muslim fanatics. Despite the Chinese government censoring access to information with the help of Google, many of their citizens are wise to much of what is going on. At some point, when family members suffer from political and or religious persecution, people will risk their lives for some sort of freedom. Unfortunately they are up against one of the most powerful militaries of all time.

China will put their best foot forward for the Olympics, but it will be an attempt at one of the biggest charades ever. While it may be just a token gesture, I don’t have a problem with any politician who boycotts the Olympics, whether they be liberal or conservative. I think it’s a mistake for President Bush to attend and give credibility to this oppressive regime…

Rush Limbaugh asked on today’s radio show the question “who are we to say what the ideal temperature of the planet is?” I discussed this same question in my blog back in December 2006 titled ‘What is the Proper Temperature for the Planet?’.

I maintain that this is the most critical question there is on the global warming issue. Even if you concede that the climate is getting warmer, which it hasn’t in the last decade - what would the ideal temperature be for the planet? We know for a fact that there has always been warming and cooling, sometimes drastic temperature shifts. We are here now so we could say that we are a product of these changing weather patterns. Perhaps we would not be here had it happened any differently.

So with all the various changes in temperatures throughout the millenniums, what would the right temperature be? What it was 100 years ago? 200? Yesterday? If we could somehow lock it in, what would it be? Would we change the seasons and make every day the same? Would life still exist? How do we know that another 5 degrees warmer wouldn’t be ideal? You could make a good argument for it, since there would be more places to grow crops on an overpopulated planet.

The truth is, the future of our planet hinges on the potential overreaction to things we cannot change. We cannot change the weather, but we can destroy the economy. We see how fragile it is right now. Global warming taxes and regulations would be a hit on our economy the likes we have never seen, causing many of the dire consequences the global warming hucksters are predicting.

Economists are arguing whether or not we are in a recession right now and the majority of the population is very concerned about rising gas and food prices. You certainly don’t want to live through a depression, especially in the world we live in today. We are not self sufficient in the least. We can handle the weather, because most people will rise up and deal with it together. Not so easy when the economy collapses. People become helpless when they are hopeless.

You see what’s being done about rising prices of fuel and food. Nothing. Citizens and politicians alike are standing around scratching their heads in futility. We are reaping the failed/ nonexistent energy policies of the last 16 years. I’m sure the snake oil salesmen who brought you global warming will also have the upgraded snake oil in the future that will save us from the side effects of the current version.

This is one of the more rational writeups you’re gonna see from a modern day Hollywood person. I’m not sure Angelina Jolie actually wrote it herself, but since she’s willing to take credit for it, I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt. Some of the things she said flies in the face of what a lot of the Hollywood Anti-Americans have said relentlessly in the past, so the contrast is why I’m writing about it.

I don’t necessarily agree with every word in her article, such as calling terrorist Syria good hosts to Iraqi refugees, but I won’t argue about the fine print…

This is why just being nice and throwing money at a problem like this isn’t the answer. There are violent, heartless people in the world, and the only way to help those who are suffering is to also deal with those who are committing the evil acts. Food, water and supplies have very limited effect when they are destroyed. They actually help those responsible for the atrocities when they are stolen, not to mention that these things are of no help if you are murdered…

Blog Chow Comment: Sgt. Wayne Leyde stopped by the convenience for a Coke and a beef jerky. He walked out with a million dollar lotto ticket. He’s served twice in Iraq and he is still volunteering for a 3rd tour before spending any of his winnings. That is dedication and belief in what he is doing.

This is a story that is already getting far less attention than it should. Ralph Nader has sued the Democratic Party for conspiring to keep him from taking votes from John Kerry in the 2004 presidential election. Nader alleges the D.N.C. conspired to force him off the ballet in several states.

This is obviously important in regards to keeping the voting process fair for all Americans. It is perhaps equally important in revealing the incredible hypocrisy of liberal politicians. They claimed they wanted every vote counted during the 2000 election, when in fact it appeared to me they only wanted votes counted that were friendly to Al Gore. How many times have we heard allegations of voter fraud mouthed from the same people who appear to condone it?

This lawsuit really underscores their hypocrisy. It also raises more suspicions on the push to give illegal aliens drivers licenses, such as in N.Y. State by Elliot Spitzer. A driver’s license for those illegally entering the country would no doubt greatly increase the likelihood of voter fraud on an unprecedented scale.

The party that has loudly claimed they wanted every vote counted has a lot to answer for. Hillary Clinton, who had previously been silent on the drivers license controversy, appeared to panic as she flip flopped when confronted with the issue during the latest presidential debate. Regardless of what party you support, you should be concerned with equal rights for all candidates and voters.

I have long wondered why someone like bin laden, who encourages martyrdom, hides in a cave, instead of becoming a martyr himself. I figured it was simply because he was a coward, but now perhaps there is a better theory. Homeland Security Adviser, Fran Townsend said: “This is about the best he can do “a man on a run, from a cave, who’s virtually impotent…” She made the impotent reference a couple times on the Sunday talk shows. I guess that would explain why he is in no hurry to meet up with all those virgins. I guess they might be virgins for a very long time. I think there might be 72 very disappointed two ton women, and a badly beaten 6′5 rag doll.
