Like the fears of Y2K nine years ago, Microsoft ZUNE player quit by the thousands last night at midnight. Seems to be the 30-gigabyte Zune that is affected. There is apparently a fix if you’ve been hit with the tardy Y2K bug. Hard to believe Microsoft could miss something like an internal clock/calendar issue. The iPod holds about a 75% grab of the MP3 world, while Zune only gets less than 10%.
